Role Summary
Grubbrr is seeking a bright, highly motivated Deployment Technician to join our growing team. This is an entry-level, hands-on technical role ideal for someone looking to jump-start their career in technology through real-world experience, structured training, and exposure to live customer environments.
In this role, you’ll support the staging, deployment, installation, and troubleshooting of Grubbrr hardware and software solutions. You'll be working closely with Engineering, Implementation, and Support teams. You’ll gain practical experience across hardware, software, networking, and customer-facing technology deployments.

Grubbrr is seeking a bright, highly motivated Deployment Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support the staging, deployment, installation, and troubleshooting of Grubbrr hardware and software solutions. You'll be working closely with Engineering, Implementation, and Support teams. You’ll gain practical experience across hardware, software, networking, and customer-facing technology deployments.
Deployment & Technical Support
- Stage, configure, and test hardware and software for upcoming customer deployments
- Perform on-site and remote hardware/software installation and technical support (internal and customer-facing)
- Assist with packing, shipping, and logistics for deployments when needed
- Provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for technical issues
- Manage and maintain on-premise hardware inventory
- Track equipment movement, usage, and availability
- Analyze system issues to identify root causes and develop effective solutions
- Test solutions and document specifications, modifications, or design changes
- Identify trends in system or deployment issues and recommend improvements to reduce recurring problems and increase productivity
- Collaborate with additional technical resources when issues require specialized expertise
- Develop and maintain knowledge base documentation
- Contribute to improving existing documentation to support internal teams and future deployments
- Assist and contribute to R&D initiatives related to hardware, software, and deployment processes
- Support testing of new configurations, tools, or deployment methodologies
- Participate in occasional travel for on-site hardware installations or partner training sessions
- Accurate, timely staging and deployment of hardware and software
- Reliable installation and support experiences for customers and internal teams
- Clear, well-maintained documentation and knowledge sharing
- Growing technical confidence and independence over time
- Strong collaboration and positive feedback from cross-functional teams
- Associate’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent education, certifications, or hands-on experience
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel to customer or partner locations as required
- Must reside in South Florida with the ability to commute easily to Boca Raton (in-office role)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across computer hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize daily tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required
