Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 annually, based on experience + discretionary bonus eligibility
The Mission
At Grubbrr, we build world-class kiosk software, but great software depends on reliable, scalable hardware. As our Hardware & Systems Management Technician, you will own the creation, automation, and lifecycle management of standardized system environments powering our kiosk deployments.
Your mission is simple: ensure every kiosk we ship is stable, remotely accessible, and deployment-ready in minutes, not hours.
This role sits at the intersection of hardware operations, systems engineering, and software deployment, and offers a growth path toward DevOps or Systems Engineering for candidates who enjoy automation and infrastructure ownership. Your work directly impacts deployment speed, field reliability, and customer experience. You will help enable scalable kiosk rollouts while reducing operational friction across engineering, support, and implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities
Remote Management Architecture
Configure BIOS/UEFI settings and Out-of-Band Management tools (e.g., Intel vPro/AMT)
Deploy and maintain Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) solutions
Ensure full remote visibility, monitoring, and recoverability across deployed kiosks
Image Lifecycle Management
Create, test, and maintain standardized “Golden Images” across multiple hardware platforms
Support Windows, Linux, and/or Android environments
Manage image versioning, updates, and deployment reliability
Automated Provisioning
Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Reduce manual configuration through repeatable provisioning workflows
Improve deployment speed, accuracy, and scalability
Hardware Validation
Perform burn-in testing and validation of new hardware platforms
Verify compatibility with Grubbrr software and device management systems
Troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues
Documentation & Operational Excellence
Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, imaging standards, and setup procedures
Define repeatable “out-of-box” deployment processes
Support occasional after-hours troubleshooting when required

Experience & Qualifications
Mid-level experience supporting hardware systems, device imaging, or endpoint management
Experience with system provisioning, scripting, or automation strongly preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Ability to work onsite in Boca Raton, FL
Growth Opportunity

Work Environment

Occasional but rare travel for hardware validation
